River City Futsal development program is the bridge between playing community level futsal and progressing to a high performance program. Sessions and games will be tailored for players of the ages 7 to 11 years old. 

 

The River City Development Program is inclusive and is available to all players ages 7-11 years wanting to develop in the sport of futsal. The program is delivered in a highly professional environment with various players entry points allowing for flexibility in the delivery of the program. At RCF we deliver a development program which is fun, engaging but also teaches players valuable on and off court skills in a controlled and safe environment.

Our development program has been built using a curriculum and framework in collaboration with one of the US most successful junior clubs (Gamer Futsal School). Our development program focusses on, but not limited to; introduction to futsal specific skills, broad range of physical/social and psychological development, fundamentals and basic futsal tactics.

2023 Season Structure

​

The 2023 season will being in July and end before Christmas.

​

The program will include Training/Development Sessions as well as periodic friendly games and mini tournaments.​ Players will be invited to participate in Australia's largest futsal tournament, the Gold Coast International Tournament which is held on the Gold Coast in January, 2024.
