2026 U9-11 PRE-ACADEMY TRIAL INFORMATION

For the 2026 Season, we’re proud to have our U9-11 Pre-Academy teams return! Key details for the upcoming season and trials are below.

2026 Trial Information

Trial details for the 2026 Season are below. All trials will be held at our state-of-the-art training facility, Mansfield Sports Centre.

​Trial 1 - Saturday 1 August 2026

• U9 Boys - 3:45pm - 5:00pm

• U10 Boys - 3:45pm - 5:00pm

• U11 Boys - 1:45pm - 3:00pm

Before trialling with the club, players will need to register their interest here – 2026 JUNIOR TRIAL REGISTRATION

We may host another trial, subject to team numbers.

Competitions

During the 2026 Summer Season we will be entering River City Futsal teams into the following Football Queensland Sanctioned competitions.​

• 2026 FQ Futsal Academy League 2

• 2026 FQ Futsal Pre-Academy League

• 2027 Gold Coast International Futsal Cup

Training Sessions

Selected teams will continue to train on Saturday afternoons at our Mansfield Sports Centre facility. These sessions will commence from Saturday 8th August up until the September School Holidays. After that date teams will train at times around the match schedule, with sessions most likely on a Tuesday night.

Club Apparel

For the 2026 Season we will continue with the same kits as 2025. For training, our custom training kit will be used again with match-day to continue being maroon home shirt, navy shorts and socks.
