Following on from Wednesday’s landmark announcement, RCF is excited to have Matt Pickham, Nathan Sparks and Matt Sciacca re-join the club for another season while adding experienced gloveman Nick Galati to the squad.
Matt Pickham
A foundation player of the club, Pickham has been a brick at the back of the court. Coming through the local Mansfield system, Pickham is known to put in a big challenge and put his body on the line for the club. Unfortunately for Pickham, an injured sustained in the opening minutes of Gold Coast International had him ruled out for the remainder of the tournament.
Nathan Sparks
After signing with the club in 2020, Sparks has been a standout inside our squad. Also, a product of the Mansfield system, Sparks scored several crucial goals during the 2020/21 season, including a goal of the season contender in our SEQ Premier League MW6 game against Galaxy FC.
Matt Sciacca
Although one of the more senior players in the squad, Sciacca as a wealth of experience in not only playing but in a leadership capacity. Initially on a hiatus with futsal, Sciacca returned for the 2020/21 Season, starting as the club’s inaugural captain. Sciacca is a further output from the Mansfield system.
Nick Galati
Our first new addition of the season, Galati has a long history of plying his trade between the sticks at a various number of levels. Excited for the upcoming season, Galati can’t wait for it to kick off.
