River City Futsal supports LIVIN mental health foundation

River City Futsal Club proudly supports Queensland based mental health foundation, LIVIN.

LIVIN is all about living your life at the top and breaking the stigma around mental health. Connecting, supporting and encouraging one another to talk about their feelings and challenges because “It Ain’t Weak to Speak”. Through the development of cutting-edge education programs, apparel and community awareness initiatives, LIVIN are launching a generational change.

The multi-year agreement will see LIVIN become the club’s front of shirt branding on all sublimated RCF kits, as well as $5 from every shirt sold being donated to LIVIN.

LIVIN will also be running seminars with River City Futsal Players and Staff as well as providing a support network to all our stakeholders.

Speaking on the announcement the Clubs’ General Manager, Mitch Sciacca, said: “When we founded the club, part of our roadmap was to engage and support our community as much as possible.”

“We are proud to have LIVIN on board and want to use them as a way to provide our players and followers the assurance they are not alone and have a support network accessible.”

LIVIN Partnership & Relationship Manager, Campbell Hall, also commented; “We are excited to be announced as River City Futsal's Official Charity partner for the 2020/21 season and beyond. We are looking forward to connecting with their community to promote a healthy lifestyle and balance and importance of looking after their mental health."

“River City Futsal and our other existing corporate relationships enable us to provide vital mental health education all around Australia and smash the stigma attached to mental health. We are grateful for River City Futsal's support and look forward to working together moving forward."
