Powerchair Development Program: Expression of Interest

Off the back of a fantastic debut season, River City Powerchair FC is excited to announce expressions of interest are now open for our Powerchair Football Development Program.

Whether you're picking up a powerchair for the first time or you've got game time under your belt and want to take your game to the next level, this program is for you.

The development program is designed to give players of all experience levels a supported pathway into the game. You'll have access to quality coaching, a great group of people, and the backing of a club that's serious about growing Powerchair Football in Brisbane and beyond.

Sessions are planned to run one Sunday a month, with a small per session fee to contribute toward court hire. We want to keep things as accessible as possible while making sure the program is sustainable for everyone involved.

The 2026 season showed us what this program is capable of. Now we want to build on it, and that starts with getting the right people involved.

If you use a power wheelchair and want to be part of something special, we'd love to hear from you. Spots are limited, so we encourage anyone who's interested to get their expression of interest in early.
