Our international network has expanded to now include South East Asia, with the signing of a long-term partnership with Sarawak based club, Buceros Futsal Club.
This exciting collaboration marks a significant advancement in our player pathway, now including all three Northern Hemisphere continents.
The partnership will follow five key areas:
Strategic collaboration in futsal development to elevate standards and share best practices
Exchange programs for players, coaches, and club officials to promote cross-cultural learning and skill enhancement.
Information and technology sharing to drive innovation and performance in futsal operations
Community advancement initiatives aimed at building the grassroots level of the game
International visits to strengthen ties and provide immersive experiences for both clubs.
On our latest partnership, Club General Manager, Mitch Sciacca commented, ‘The introduction of Buceros Futsal to our international partner network is a key step in our goal to provide our players opportunities around the world."
"This five-year partnership aligns with the strategic vision of the AFC, to grow Futsal in Asia as a whole. We are also connecting Australia to the South East Asia region. I'm excited to see the work we can do with Fadillah, Awie and the rest of the Buceros team." Sciacca emphasised.
This partnership reflects our vision to be a leader in futsal development and community engagement, while offering our members unparalleled opportunities for growth and international exposure.
Buceros Futsal Club (MAS) joins Colorado Rapids (USA, Galaxy Futsal SJ (USA), A.S.D Sporting Club Marconi (ITA) and Bloomsbury Futsal (ENG) as partners in our international network.
