A.S.D Sporting Club Marconi supports growing RCF Network

Italian Futsal giants, A.S.D Sporting Marconi from Rome have backed our ever-growing international network.

A.S.D Sporting Club Marconi, founded in 2005 has become a community hub for families in the centre of Rome with access to sporting and recreations activities. In addition to the sporting programs, Marconi also provides positive social programs; mainly their work of providing support to disadvantaged boys in Rome giving them possibility to play sport free of charge.

Marconi is also in cooperation with, Cybertel Aniene , Italian Serie A Division team and will manage an important project focused to build futsal schools and affiliations for all of Italy.

The collaboration between River City and Marconi will allow players to interchange between both clubs as part of a player exchange program. The collaboration will enable River City Futsal Club to establish an international touring program where select River City Futsal teams will travel Italy to train and play at Marconi’s facilities in Italy as well as participate in tournaments including the annual and prestigious Montesilvano Futsal Cup.

Club General Manager, Mitch Sciacca is pleased with our latest International partner, citing; “We are very much looking forward to working with such a likeminded club which such international exposure. The signing of this agreement will provide River City Futsal with greater international collaboration. We are also looking forward to working alongside Cybertel Aniene, providing our players a direct pathway to Serie A Calcio a 5.”

“Hopefully the world can get back to normal soon and we can send teams across to Italy to train and play and experience being part of a professional futsal club.”

The agreement to have immediate effect with both clubs aiming to collaborate on and off the court.
